Senior Fullstack Java Engineer

• 5+ years hands-on experience as a Java fullstack engineer, well familiar with the concept of microservices and Spring Boot framework
• Proficiency with server-side languages such as Java (experience with Node.js, Ruby, Golang is a plus)
• Experience with UI frameworks and technologies, specifically JavaScript frameworks
• Familiarity with database technologies such as MySQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB
• Degree in engineering, information systems, or related field
• Prior experience in financial services or investment banking is highly valuable

• Exposure to Agile methodologies
• Fluent in English

• Design, develop, test, and maintain Java-based applications running on Linux platforms and integrated with SQL databases (Sybase, Oracle, and PostgreSQL)
• Contribute to the development of modern front-end applications using Angular, React, and JavaScript frameworks
• Build and enhance microservices-based solutions, ensuring high availability, scalability, and performance of financial trading systems
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from requirements analysis and design through implementation, testing, deployment, and production support
• Apply Agile development methodologies and contribute to iterative, continuous delivery practices
• Take ownership of services throughout their lifecycle, including monitoring, troubleshooting, and resolving production issues
• Automate testing, deployment, and operational processes to improve system reliability and delivery efficiency
• Ensure applications comply with internal cybersecurity standards and promptly remediate identified vulnerabilities
• Support production systems as part of a shared operational responsibility model, including participation in daytime monitoring and occasional out-of-hours incident resolution
