Cloud DevOps Engineer (k/m)

Oktawave S.A. is a company developing the largest cloud in Poland, and is a partner of Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform, and VMware.

• Experience delivering production projects at various scales
• Ability to prepare scripts and automate infrastructure deployment in public clouds and on-premises environments
• Understanding of containerization concepts and frameworks such as Docker and Kubernetes
• Use of common DevOps platforms and tools
• Practical knowledge of any programming language

Nice to have:

• Professional certifications for Google Cloud, Amazon Web Services, or Microsoft Azure
• Experience with PaaS services from major cloud providers
• Familiarity with configuration management tools such as Terraform, Terragrunt, Ansible
• Knowledge of building highly available solutions
• Experience with self-service / IDP tools (Backstage, Port, Humanitec)
• Experience migrating legacy applications to public clouds
• Ability to contribute technical input for sales processes
• English language proficiency allowing participation in international projects
• Capability to work on multiple projects concurrently

• Deploy and maintain cloud environments in GCP using Terraform
• Plan and perform migration and modernization of systems from on-premise to cloud
• Maintain and develop landing zones for key company clients
• Prepare and develop self-service systems for developers
• Analyze client business needs for optimal cloud solutions
