Business Analyst / Product Owner

• 4+ years commercial experience as Business Analyst, Product Owner, or Systems Analyst, ideally in legacy modernization, migration, or integration projects.
• Proven As-Is / To-Be analysis experience.
• Ability to read Java/Spring code and write SQL (Oracle, PostgreSQL) for understanding logic and data profiling.
• Strong process-modeling skills using BPMN, swimlanes, data-flow and integration diagrams, and documenting business rules and data mappings.
• Experience defining portals/internal tools from business perspective, including user roles, journeys, wireframes (e.g. Figma, Miro), and functional specs.
• Good understanding of modern cloud architectures (ideally Azure), integrations, REST APIs, and data platforms like Databricks.
• Hands-on backlog management with clear user stories and acceptance criteria, using tools like Jira or Confluence.
• Comfortable working on business-critical operational systems with direct real-world impact.
• Experience using AI assistants for analysis, documentation, and code comprehension.
• Excellent communication and facilitation skills in English (C1), including leading workshops with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Analyze existing solution by reading Java/Spring code, Oracle schemas, PL/SQL, configuration, and data samples to reverse-engineer business rules, validations, message handling, and edge cases.
• Map current operational processes through interviews, shadowing, and artifact review; identify pain points and risks.
• Produce As-Is documentation: process maps, integration and data-flow diagrams, business-rule catalogue, and gap analysis.
• Design Target (To-Be) processes for the modernized platform, including exception handling and reporting enabled by Databricks.
• Define portals and operational tooling: user roles, journeys, screen-level functional specifications, wireframes, and related data and APIs.
• Specify business rules, data mappings, and integration behavior with architects and engineers.
• Define functional aspects of transition: migration scope, parallel run, cutover scenarios, fallback procedures, and acceptance criteria.
• Own and prioritize product backlog: epics, user stories, acceptance criteria, and scope trade-offs.
• Run workshops and act as main functional contact for client stakeholders.
• Ensure non-functional needs (availability, performance, auditability, data protection) in processes and portal design.
• Support UAT, accept delivered functionality, and prepare documentation and training materials before go-live.
