DevOps (migration to AWS)

You will join a team responsible for the development and maintenance of a strategic AWS platform supporting a global energy-sector organization. The role involves both complex cloud migration initiatives and the development of modern AWS-based solutions using automation, Infrastructure as Code, and AWS best practices.

• Proven hands-on experience delivering AWS migration projects, preferably within large enterprise environments.
• Strong knowledge of AWS services and cloud architecture.
• Experience with:
  • Terraform
  • AWS CloudFormation
  • GitHub / GitOps
  • AWS Systems Manager (SSM)
  • Ansible
  • AWS IAM
  • Microsoft Entra ID
  • Amazon CloudWatch
  • AWS Config
• Practical experience with Kubernetes and Docker, particularly Amazon EKS environments.
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
• Understanding of cloud security and CI/CD security best practices.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluent English.

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of AWS Account Factory for Terraform (AFT).
• Experience with AWS FinOps tools and practices (Cost Explorer, CUR, Glue).
• Familiarity with NIST security standards.
• Experience managing AWS Organizations policies and Service Control Policies (SCPs).
• AWS certifications.

• Participate in system and application migration projects to AWS in line with the defined migration strategy.
• Plan and execute Lift & Shift migrations as well as Re-Architecture initiatives.
• Support application containerization and deployments on Amazon EKS.
• Migrate databases using AWS Database Migration Service (DMS) and AWS Schema Conversion Tool (SCT).
• Design and implement data migration solutions using AWS DataSync, Storage Gateway, and Amazon S3.
• Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and AWS CloudFormation.
• Develop and enhance CI/CD pipelines based on GitHub and AWS services.
• Monitor, maintain, and optimize AWS environments.
• Support incident resolution and troubleshooting of cloud platform-related issues.
• Configure monitoring, alerting, and KPI dashboards using Amazon CloudWatch.
• Collaborate with platform architects and application teams to evolve the central AWS platform.
• Prepare technical documentation, procedures, onboarding materials, and user guides.
• Support the implementation of security standards and AWS Well-Architected Framework best practices.
