Data Platform Engineer

• 6+ years of professional experience in software, data, or platform engineering
• Proven experience delivering hybrid-cloud or cloud migration projects
• Strong understanding of Data Lake and Data Warehouse architectures
• Hands-on experience with ETL/ELT development using Spark, dbt, or similar technologies
• Experience working with Delta Lake, Parquet, and modern data storage solutions
• Knowledge of metadata management and catalog platforms such as DataHub or Amundsen
• Practical experience with Natural Language Processing (NLP), including data cleaning, normalization, and transformation
• Familiarity with Machine Learning and Deep Learning frameworks such as PyTorch, scikit-learn, or similar
• Understanding of networking concepts, including VXLAN and MPLS
• Knowledge of Zero-Trust security principles
• Experience with secrets management and identity solutions, including Vault, Azure AD, and SAML
• Hands-on experience with GitLab CI, Azure Pipelines, or similar CI/CD tools
• Familiarity with code quality and security testing tools such as SonarQube and OWASP ZAP
• Knowledge of security and compliance frameworks including ISO 27001, NIST CSF, GDPR, and EBA guidelines
• Good English language skills, at least B2/B2+

• Design, develop, test, and deliver production-ready AI and NLP solutions
• Integrate AI-driven capabilities with existing tools, platforms, and infrastructure
• Build and optimize data processing frameworks, ETL/ELT pipelines, and analytical platforms
• Collaborate closely with Tech Leads and Engineers to resolve technical challenges and ensure smooth delivery
• Support cloud and on-premise integration and migration initiatives
• Ensure solutions align with corporate security, governance, and compliance standards
• Contribute to CI/CD, monitoring, and operational excellence practices
• Participate actively in Agile ceremonies as a member of a cross-functional squad
