Senior Java Developer

Braver IT S.A. is an international company working on modern digital solutions for the travel and aviation industry.

• 5+ years of professional experience in backend development
• Strong knowledge of Java and Spring Boot
• Solid experience with REST APIs
• Practical experience with microservices
• Experience working with relational databases
• Good understanding of software development best practices, testing, and CI/CD
• Experience building scalable and reliable applications
• Good command of English
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of technical solutions

Nice to have:

• Experience working in the travel, aviation, or e-commerce industry
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Knowledge of event-driven architecture and messaging systems (e.g., Kafka)
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and modern deployment practices
• Familiarity with AI-powered development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, Cursor) or experience using AI to improve engineering workflows
• Experience integrating AI/LLM-based solutions into applications
• Experience working in international and distributed engineering teams

• Developing and maintaining backend applications using Java
• Designing and developing REST APIs and integrations
• Working with microservices architecture
• Taking part in technical design and architectural decisions
• Building scalable, reliable, and high-quality solutions
• Collaborating closely with frontend developers, QA, DevOps, and other technical specialists
• Participating in code reviews and knowledge sharing
• Contributing to the continuous improvement of development practices
