Software Engineer

Volue is a technology company working with energy companies, grid operators, and infrastructure providers across 40+ countries. Their software, data, and insights support important decisions in the European energy sector, focusing on the green transition.

• Over 3-4 years (mid) or over 5 years (senior) of commercial experience in C# backend development.
• Proficiency in web application development using ASP.NET Core and WebAPI.
• Solid understanding of SQL databases and ORM frameworks.
• Experience with message brokers such as RabbitMQ.
• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure (preferably AKS), CI/CD tools (like GitHub Actions), Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Business fluency in English.
• Openness to a hybrid work model: 2 days in Volue Gdansk office per week.

• Develop a domain-rich auction application for power grids built with .NET 9.
• Build asynchronous communication based on RabbitMQ, ensuring scalability and reliability of data exchange between services.
• Develop and maintain cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure, from architecture and deployment to production monitoring.
• Make a real impact on a product supporting the energy transition and shaping energy market balancing.
