Citigroup is transforming its DevOps Support team by adopting a complete Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) model, using established SRE principles and Generative AI technologies to enhance observability, reliability, and resiliency for developer tools.
Wymagania
- Proficiency in Python, Java, or Node.js.
- Understanding of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and pipeline management.
- Basic knowledge of observability principles and SLOs/SLIs.
- Experience with monitoring tools such as Grafana, Kibana, Prometheus, and AppDynamics.
- Basic working knowledge of data visualization tools like Tableau.
- Understanding of Agile concepts and processes.
- Familiarity with OpenShift, Tekton, and Harness pipelines.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, communication, and collaboration skills.
Obowiązki
- Design, implement, and maintain monitoring solutions using tools like Grafana, Kibana, and AppDynamics.
- Define SLOs/SLIs for developer pipeline applications to ensure high availability and performance.
- Proactively identify and resolve application performance bottlenecks.
- Develop automation scripts using Python, JavaScript, or Go to streamline operational tasks.
- Focus on projects related to Generative AI and task automation.
- Take ownership of complex problems and collaborate with the team to drive them to resolution.
- Balance proactive solution-seeking with hands-on incident resolution.
- Analyze system logs and metrics to perform root cause analysis of issues.
Additional exposure and learning:
- Gain experience with technologies like Tekton and Harness on OpenShift.
- Participate in building observability and designing SLOs/SLIs to improve application performance.
- Engage with Generative AI implementation and automation model development from idea to product delivery.
