AVEVA PI Developer

emagine Polska is hiring an experienced AVEVA PI Developer to work with operational and asset data, focusing on data integration, transformation, and requirements gathering for enterprise systems. The company is engaging in asset-intensive environments such as utilities, water, energy, infrastructure, and manufacturing.

• Minimum 3 years hands-on experience with AVEVA PI.
• Strong experience with PI Data Archive, PI AF, PI Analytics, and PI Vision.
• Strong understanding of operational, asset, or time-series data.
• Proficient in SQL and data manipulation skills.
• Experience with data mapping, transformation, and validation.
• Knowledge of data integration and ETL concepts.
• Experience working with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Nice to have:

• Hands-on experience with FME (Safe Software) or another ETL/data integration platform.
• Experience with APIs and system integration.
• Experience with Geographic Information System (GIS) / spatial data.
• Experience integrating asset, operational, engineering, or enterprise data.
• Experience with automated data pipelines and scheduled processing.
• Experience in utilities, water, energy, infrastructure, manufacturing, or other asset-intensive environments.
• Experience with Agile delivery and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

• Develop and maintain solutions using AVEVA PI System.
• Configure and develop PI Asset Framework (AF) structures, templates, and attributes.
• Develop PI Analytics and calculations for operational and asset insights.
• Develop and maintain PI Vision dashboards and visualisations.
• Design and develop data integration and transformation processes across source and target systems.
• Perform data mapping, transformation, validation, and reconciliation.
• Analyse operational and asset data to identify data quality, structural, and integration issues.
• Work with technical, operational, and business stakeholders to understand requirements.
• Translate requirements into functional and technical specifications.
• Support integration, testing, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), deployment, and ongoing enhancement.
• Work with APIs and enterprise systems to support data integration.
• Produce clear technical documentation covering solutions, data flows, mappings, and integrations.

Opportunity type: Initial 6-month contract, Hybrid in Dublin/Cork or Remote (Must be based in Europe).
