Product Owner - IoT

• Proven commercial experience as a Product Owner in a Scrum team
• Strong analytical and decision-making skills to evaluate options and make product decisions
• Proven, structured end-to-end backlog management experience
• Experience translating business and customer needs into actionable requirements, epics, and user stories
• Good understanding of software development processes and effective collaboration with engineering
• Working knowledge of REST APIs and how APIs are used in modern digital products
• Ability to discuss technical constraints without being a hands-on developer
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Proactive communication style to structure meetings, set expectations, and establish ownership boundaries
• Comfort with ambiguity, changing requirements, and shifting priorities
• Strong ownership mindset for product decisions and backlog priorities
• Ability to balance customer needs, business goals, technical constraints, and delivery timelines
• Experience working in Agile / Scrum environments
• Good command of English, spoken and written

• Experience with IoT platforms or connected products
• Experience with data analytics and data-driven products
• Experience with data-intensive platforms, data processing, or data lakehouses
• Familiarity with AI-assisted and agentic ways of working and tools

• Own and prioritize the product backlog to focus on highest-value initiatives
• Translate business and customer needs into epics, user stories, requirements, and acceptance criteria
• Define and communicate product vision and roadmap balancing value, needs, constraints, and capacity
• Gather, structure, and validate requirements with customers and stakeholders
• Co-design platform functionalities across APIs, UIs, integrations, and communication flows
• Make informed decisions on scope, priorities, trade-offs between delivery speed, value, and technical debt
• Act as a key link between business, customers, and engineering team
• Structure communication, facilitate alignment, and ensure ownership and expectations across stakeholders
• Lead and participate in Scrum ceremonies including planning, refinement, reviews, and retrospectives
• Define acceptance criteria and validate delivered features against requirements
• Maintain documentation of initiatives, epics, and user stories throughout the product lifecycle
• Produce functional specifications and documentation as needed after feature delivery
• Track product performance and user feedback after release and use insights to inform future priorities
• Work with engineering and stakeholders to continuously improve the product and workflows
