Software Engineer with AI

• 6+ years of professional software engineering experience with Python
• Experience with FastAPI and Pydantic (endpoint design, dependency injection, models, validators, auth, error handling)
• Solid design of REST APIs with OAuth 2.0/Okta, JWT, and role-based access control (RBAC)
• Automated testing experience with pytest
• Strong SQL fundamentals and hands-on experience with PostgreSQL from Python, including ORMs, database drivers, and asynchronous vs synchronous trade-offs
• Experience deploying and operating applications on Kubernetes
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, preferably GitHub Actions
• Hands-on experience integrating LLM APIs into production applications, including prompt design, tool/function calling, and safe handling of nondeterministic output
• Daily experience using AI coding assistants such as Claude Code or Codex
• Understanding of multi-tenant SaaS application security
• Ability to evaluate AI features and monitor quality, latency, cost, and reliability
• Product mindset and ownership with strong communication skills
• Good knowledge of English (minimum C1 level)

Nice to have:

• Experience with evaluation and observability tooling for LLM features such as LangSmith, Langfuse, Arize Phoenix, or OpenTelemetry
• Systematic prompt optimization including versioned prompts, A/B tests, DSPy
• Experience with multi-step orchestration, context management, guardrails, and human-in-the-loop
• Experience with Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), vector search technologies (pgvector, Pinecone), and frameworks like LangChain or LangGraph
• Experience with Snowflake or comparable cloud data warehouses
• Knowledge of Temporal, Socket.IO / WebSockets, and Redis pub/sub
• Basic knowledge of frontend technologies like React and TypeScript to make minor frontend changes

• Design, build, test, and operate production Python services with FastAPI, including endpoint design, data validation with Pydantic, authentication, error handling, and observability
• Write and optimize SQL against PostgreSQL and contribute to schema and data-model decisions
• Deploy and run services on Kubernetes, managing stateful and stateless workloads
• Build and integrate generative AI features connecting LLMs with platform data, APIs, and internal tools using prompt design, tool calling, workflow orchestration, context management, guardrails, and human review
• Evaluate AI workflows and monitor quality, latency, cost, and failure rates
• Maintain automated test suites using pytest and develop automated quality gates
• Use AI coding assistants like Claude Code and Codex effectively while validating generated output prior to production
• Apply security-first principles including tenant isolation, role-based access control, and least-privilege data access across UI, API, and AI workflows
• Participate in code reviews, identify architectural and AI reliability risks, and improve engineering practices
• Document data flows, API contracts, and AI workflow behavior clearly for non-engineers
