Staff Hardware Design Engineer – SoC / NoC

Cyclad is an engineering organization working with top international IT companies developing advanced semiconductor technologies and configurable hardware IP solutions, focusing on System-on-Chip (SoC) architectures used in modern electronic products and high-performance computing.

• 8–12 years of professional experience in SoC, semiconductor IP, or NoC hardware development.
• Strong knowledge of coherent and non-coherent communication and interconnect technologies including AMBA, AXI, ACE, PCIe, CXL, CHI.
• Solid understanding of modern processor architectures, particularly ARM and/or RISC-V, including cache architectures and memory coherency.
• Extensive knowledge of SoC/IP development lifecycle: requirements, architecture, RTL implementation, verification, synthesis, DFT, timing, and power constraints.
• Strong analytical, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Advanced knowledge of Verilog/SystemVerilog and experience with industry-standard simulation and synthesis tools.
• Practical programming experience with SystemC, C++, Python, and scripting languages used in hardware development.
• Ability to work autonomously and take ownership of challenging technical topics.
• Willingness to travel to France for business trips.
• Professional fluency in English, both written and spoken.
• Master's degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related technical discipline.

• Design and implement complex RTL blocks for configurable hardware IP with focus on functionality, scalability, and performance.
• Define architecture and technical specifications for NoC and related components.
• Create advanced verification environments for functional coverage and validation.
• Analyze technical issues and develop solutions while providing technical assistance.
• Cooperate with hardware, software, and verification teams for integration of components.
• Improve design and verification processes and methodologies.
• Participate in technical discussions with customers and application engineers.
• Produce documentation and mentor less experienced team members.

Position requires willingness to travel to France for business trips. Work location is Kraków with hybrid work (2 days from office).
