Technical Lead

This role is within the pharmaceutical industry and involves integrating a global SaaS platform into the research IT landscape, focusing on laboratory data flows.

• Strong experience in solution architecture, requirements analysis, and solution design.
• Proven experience integrating SaaS products with enterprise systems.
• Strong Amazon Web Services (AWS) knowledge and experience in designing cloud-based solutions.
• Hands-on Python development experience.
• Strong database and data engineering experience, particularly with PostgreSQL and PL/SQL.
• Experience with messaging queues, data flows, and system-to-system integration.
• Understanding of secure and compliant solution design in a regulated environment.
• Experience with GitHub and agile practices.
• Analytical and systematic thinking ability to translate complex requirements into clear technical solutions.

• Experience in laboratory animal research applications.
• Familiarity with compliance regulations in the healthcare sector.
• Interpersonal skills for team collaboration and feedback.

• Build a thorough technical understanding of the vendor SaaS solution and its integration points within the existing IT landscape.
• Lead solution design for secure, compliant, and reliable integration between Climb, Cloud Services, SADP, and downstream systems.
• Define and coordinate expected data flows, including support for laboratory activities and equipment.
• Assess and coordinate migration of data from the legacy solution to the new platform.
• Provide technical leadership to the development team and collaborate with the Product Owner and Scrum Master to implement the right solution.
• Remain hands-on with Python and database development, including PostgreSQL and PL/SQL-related work.
• Design and validate integrations using messaging queues and appropriate data architecture patterns.
• Support proof-of-concept work, technical troubleshooting, code reviews, and continuous improvement.
• Use GitHub and agile delivery practices to support transparent and effective software delivery.
