Senior Infrastructure & DevOps Engineer

PEPSICO is hiring for a senior role focused on multi-cloud infrastructure and DevOps engineering.

• 7+ years experience in DevOps, Cloud Architecture, or Site Reliability Engineering in a senior or lead role
• Strong production experience managing workloads on both AWS and Azure platforms
• Familiarity with cloud-native security tools (e.g., Wiz, Cloudstrike, AWS GuardDuty, AWS Security Hub, Microsoft Defender for Cloud)
• Experience integrating security frameworks (OWASP, CIS Benchmarks, NIST) and tools like SAST and SCA (e.g., Snyk, SonarQube, Cloudstrike, Aqua Trivy) into CI/CD pipelines
• Practical experience using AI-driven DevOps tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, OpenAI, and AI-assisted observability tools (Datadog Watchdog/Bits AI, K8sGPT)
• Advanced proficiency with Terraform including modules, state management, and workspace optimization
• Deep hands-on experience with mission-critical workloads on Amazon EKS and/or Azure AKS including ingress controllers and network policies
• Extensive experience building automated pipelines with GitHub Actions or GitLab CI and understanding of GitOps principles (e.g., ArgoCD, Flux)
• Strong networking fundamentals including Subnets, VPC/VNet peering, Routing, Firewalls, VPN topologies, and DNS resolution
• Exceptional communication skills and passion for mentoring

• Design, deploy, and maintain multi-cloud infrastructure using Terraform across AWS and Azure
• Architect and manage enterprise Kubernetes clusters using EKS and/or AKS
• Design and evolve automated pipelines leveraging GitHub Actions or GitLab CI/CD implementing GitOps workflows
• Embed DevSecOps security frameworks and automated compliance scanning into CI/CD pipelines
• Evaluate and leverage AI tooling for infrastructure automation and code review optimization
• Lead technical discussions with software teams to align cloud-native application architecture
• Manage core networking including hybrid connectivity, VPNs, ExpressRoute, Direct Connect, and DNS
• Mentor and coach junior and mid-level engineers via code reviews and architectural guidance
• Participate in engineering on-call rotation ensuring production system reliability
