Application Support Specialist

• Knowledge of maintenance of financial applications and infrastructure.
• Experience with installation, configuration, or support of business applications.
• Good broad technical knowledge.
• Understanding of ITIL and COBIT best practices.
• Good command of English both spoken and written at B2 level.

• Ensuring high availability and reliability of applications and supporting platforms.
• Planning and executing application and platform deployments and updates in pre-production and production environments.
• Analyzing and resolving reported issues according to SLA.
• Coordinating escalations and monitoring incidents.
• Managing communication with clients and partners to ensure transparency in support processes.
• Maintaining, configuring, and optimizing applications for business users.
• Performing installation, updates, and configuration changes of applications.
• Close cooperation with Service Desk and infrastructure teams.
• Collaborating in deploying services to testing environments.
• Creating and maintaining technical documentation and knowledge bases.
• Monitoring and analyzing application health and implementing performance improvements.
• Cooperating with development teams and suppliers for enhancements.
• Participating in Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
• Identifying and minimizing operational risks.
• Participating in monitoring compliance with organizational IT processes such as ITIL.
