Senior Engineering Manager

Moment A/S is hiring a Senior Engineering Manager for their office in Gdańsk, representing a large international SaaS company. The role involves managing teams in Poland and liaising with management in the US. The company operates in the SaaS industry.

• Experience leading multiple teams or managers with demonstrated leadership driving change.
• Daily experience working in SaaS environments, including managing CI/CD and observability.
• Practical use of agentic AI tools focused on delivery impact.
• Technical acumen to discern quality of engineering arguments despite not writing code.
• Willingness to work in a regulated market with high quality standards, with training provided.
• Ability to work hybrid with 2 to 3 days onsite in Gdańsk.
• Fluency in English (C2) and Polish (C2).

• Lead the strategy at the site ensuring the team has optimal conditions to succeed.
• Act as the intermediary between local teams and US management.
• Clear obstacles and explain the rationale behind tasks to teams.
• Hold teams accountable for outcomes.
• Drive AI implementations impacting engineering workflows.
• Maintain close proximity to technical work and make decisions with available information.
• Address quality and review challenges associated with AI-produced work.
• Manage occasional evening calls with US management.
