Applied AI Engineer

Yard Corporate supports a new, independently operated AI startup backed by a profitable international technology group with an initial investment of USD 100 million. The company is building a small, world-class team of approximately 15 people and developing a global voice and text AI assistant focused on completing long-running, multi-step tasks related to communication, email, organisation, and everyday workflows.

• Experience building and shipping LLM, agentic, or AI-powered systems
• High proficiency in Python
• Understanding of production reliability, evaluation, latency, and cost
• Ability to work independently in an ambiguous, early-stage environment
• Enjoy taking end-to-end ownership rather than focusing on only a single technical layer

• Build and ship production-grade AI features end to end
• Design LLM agents, prompts, tools, and multi-step workflows
• Develop tool-calling and external service integrations
• Work with persistent memory, context management, and RAG
• Create evaluation frameworks and measure real-world quality
• Improve reliability through validation, fallbacks, and recovery mechanisms
• Optimize inference for quality, latency, cost and performance
• Monitor and debug systems in production
