macOS Platform Engineer (German-Speaking) | Enterprise Aviation Company

Polcode is a Poland-based software house working with clients worldwide since 2006. They build web, mobile, and eCommerce products for startups and established companies across Europe, the US, and beyond. The company is currently hiring for a long-term project with an end client from the aviation industry, operating an enterprise environment with more than 1,000 endpoints.

• Strong hands-on knowledge of macOS (Darwin/BSD-Unix)
• Proven background as a Platform Engineer
• Solid understanding of Device Management processes and architecture
• Familiarity with Identity & Access Management (IAM)
• Knowledge of modern Apple management tools
• Experience working in enterprise environments with 1,000+ endpoints
• German and English at C1 level (must-have)

Nice to have:

• Hands-on experience with Fleet
• Experience with Santa
• Familiarity with Platform SSO (PSSO)
• Strong background in automation within macOS environments
• Experience introducing new Apple platform capabilities in enterprise environments

• Operate and further develop an MDM landscape based on Fleet
• Support the provisioning and operation of macOS devices and the related management platform
• Handle software packaging, deployment, and lifecycle management
• Configure and maintain policies, compliance requirements, and security guidelines
• Integrate and operate technologies such as Santa and Platform SSO (PSSO)
• Work with other Apple Enterprise Services
• Automate and optimize operational processes in the macOS environment
• Support the introduction of new Apple platform capabilities
