Senior Full-Stack Engineer with .NET and Angular

Endava partners with WTW to deliver software engineering teams supporting WTW's Insurance Consulting and Technology Division, focusing on insurance software and advisory services with over 1,700 colleagues across 35 markets.

Software Engineering:

• 6–9 years of commercial experience.
• Strong experience with C#, modern .NET, and ASP.NET.
• Strong experience with Angular and TypeScript.
• Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs.
• Good understanding of object-oriented programming and modern engineering principles.

Cloud & Platform Engineering:

• Experience developing applications on Microsoft Azure.
• Experience with Azure DevOps, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience working with Docker and containerized applications.
• Understanding of Infrastructure as Code principles, with OpenTofu or Terraform.
• Understanding of cloud-native application development.

Engineering Practices:

• Experience writing unit and integration tests.
• Understanding of Clean Code principles and software design patterns.
• Experience working in Agile Scrum teams.
• Ability to work in cross-functional teams.

Soft Skills:

• Develop modern Angular applications replacing legacy AngularJS portals.
• Design, develop, and maintain .NET backend services supporting distributed compute workloads.
• Build and enhance REST APIs for multiple business applications.
• Modernize legacy platform functionality while maintaining business continuity.
• Implement scalable, maintainable, and secure software following modern practices.

Platform Modernization:

• Participate in migration to Azure Container Apps and containerized workloads.
• Support Infrastructure as Code implementation using OpenTofu or Terraform.
• Contribute to cloud-native platform modernization initiatives.
• Help improve deployment pipelines and release automation.
• Improve platform scalability, maintainability, and operational resilience.

Engineering Excellence:

• Write unit, integration, and automated tests.
• Participate in code reviews and technical discussions.
• Apply Clean Code principles and modern software design patterns.
• Support CI/CD initiatives and zero-downtime deployments.

Operations & Collaboration:

• Collaborate with Product Owners, Architects, QA, DevOps, and Engineers.
• Participate in production support and on-call rotation.
• Contribute to troubleshooting and continuous platform improvements.
• Share knowledge and participate in building engineering capability.
