Lead DevSecOps Security Engineer

• Proven experience in DevSecOps, Security Engineering, Application Security, or Cloud Security roles.
• Strong understanding of modern software development and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience securing cloud-native environments, preferably AWS.
• Experience with Kubernetes and container security.
• Implementing security controls within software delivery pipelines.
• Strong knowledge of vulnerability management and remediation workflows.
• Knowledge of application security concepts and the OWASP Top 10.
• Experience collaborating with engineering teams in advisory or enablement roles.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Independent and proactive work approach in a global organization.
• Pragmatic, solution-oriented security mindset.

Nice to have:

• Experience with Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM) platforms.
• Experience with Kubernetes Security Posture Management (KSPM) solutions.
• Knowledge of AWS and GCP security best practices.

• Experience in large-scale enterprise organizations.

Secure SDLC & DevSecOps:

• Implement Secure Software Development Lifecycle practices across engineering teams.
• Embed security controls and automated security testing into CI/CD pipelines.
• Integrate security requirements from design through deployment.
• Enable secure-by-design application development.
• Support security automation and continuous improvement in delivery pipelines.

Cloud & Kubernetes Security:

• Develop and enhance cloud security posture management.
• Secure AWS-based environments and cloud-native platforms.
• Improve Kubernetes security with controls, monitoring, and best practices.
• Assess and remediate cloud security risks.

Vulnerability Management:

• Support risk-based vulnerability management for applications and infrastructure.
• Analyze findings, prioritize business risk, and remediation.
• Collaborate with engineering teams for effective remediation.
• Contribute to scalable vulnerability identification, triage, and reporting processes.

Application Security:

• Provide application security guidance throughout development.
• Support secure coding and remediation recommendations.
• Advise on security design decisions and implementations.
• Lead security awareness and developer enablement initiatives.

Security Engineering & Tooling:

• Manage and enhance security tooling within development and operational environments.
• Evaluate security platforms for optimization opportunities.
• Work with tools such as GitLab, SonarQube, Mend, Tenable, Sysdig.
• Support proof-of-concept, platform integrations, and automation initiatives.
