Cloud Engineer

Scalo focuses on software projects and supports partners in business development. Their activities include technology consulting, software development, embedded systems, cloud solutions, data management, and dedicated project teams.

• Master's degree.
• Minimum B2 level of English.
• At least 5 years of professional IT experience.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar position.
• At least one intermediate-level certificate in AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, or equivalent international certification.
• Knowledge of corporate cloud technologies: Azure, AWS, Google Cloud covering Identity, Networking, Compute, Storage, Web, Mobile, Containers, Databases, Analytics, and AI & Machine Learning.
• Experience building and deploying various cloud services including compute power, storage, and networking.
• Strong scripting and programming experience in PowerShell, Terraform, Ansible, Go, Bash, Windows Command Prompt, and object-oriented programming languages.
• Documented experience in Linux administration and scripting; preferred experience with Red Hat.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft system administration.
• Deep understanding of DevOps principles and Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) concepts and techniques.
• Knowledge of cloud security and compliance including monitoring, auditing, and compliance control tools.
• Experience collaborating with multiple support teams.
• Experience with ticketing systems and ITIL-compliant change, configuration, and release management processes.
• Good organizational and prioritization skills.
• Certifications: Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-305) or Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104).
• Practical experience designing, deploying, or maintaining Azure Enterprise-Scale Landing Zones based on Microsoft Cloud Adoption Framework (CAF).

• Administration and monitoring of corporate cloud environments, including managing subscriptions, identities, and resources as well as process and task automation.
• Monitoring and reporting on resource usage and cloud service consumption.
• Preparing, updating, and maintaining reports and workflow processes.
• Developing, updating, and maintaining policies, guidelines, and SOP procedures.
• Launching development and DevOps project environments.
• Providing 2nd line support for teams responsible for application development regarding cloud services and coordinating with 3rd line support.
• Participating in coordination and project meetings.
