QA Automation Engineer

Develocraft is a specialized engineering team working on an expert-driven probabilistic modelling and data analytics platform.

• 5+ years of software development or QA automation experience (Mid/Senior level).
• Strong proficiency in Python, pytest, and Playwright.
• Deep understanding of API testing and automated framework design.
• Hands-on experience with Linux/Shell environments, Docker, Git, and CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitLab CI, GitHub Actions).
• Familiarity with AWS services and container orchestration ecosystems.
• English proficiency at minimum B2 level for daily technical communication and interviews.
• Must be a resident of Poland.

Nice to have:

• Experience working alongside data scientists or quantitative teams.
• Experience with mock tools (Wiremock, pytest-mock), report engines (Allure, Report Portal), or data libraries (NumPy, Pandas, SQLAlchemy).
• Familiarity with Terraform, Kubernetes, or Airflow.

• Extend and maintain automated testing frameworks for full-stack application components and APIs.
• Develop behavioral test automation and end-to-end testing strategies alongside software developers.
• Investigate, log, and resolve complex software defects within agile team backlogs.
• Collaborate within a geographically distributed team to ensure high code quality, correctness, and test coverage.
