Administrator

emagine Polska operates in the Finance industry and offers a remote full-time position for an Administrator focused on maintaining and operating applications running on Windows and RHEL (Red Hat Enterprise Linux) infrastructures.

• Good knowledge of application deployment, including sequencing tasks.
• Expert knowledge of applications based on Java technology.
• Very good knowledge of Windows and RHEL operating systems.
• Familiarity with Oracle and PostgreSQL databases.
• Additional skills with deployment and automation tools: Ansible, Docker, Git.
• Experience integrating and collaborating with Windows and Linux applications within complex heterogeneous IT environments.
• Fluent in German; English is optional.

Must Haves:

• Proficiency in the German language.
• Infrastructure experience (Windows/Linux).
• Java application administration.
• Experience in enterprise/banking environments.

• Provide technical advice to development teams and clients during project execution and support application design and development phases.
• Integrate applications with infrastructure and technology platforms.
• Develop technical solution concepts collaboratively with operations teams, architects, and the Service Design department.
• Maintain applications across all required environments (testing, integration, production, etc.) in accordance with client requirements.
• Customize applications based on client needs following standards and concepts.
• Install, configure, and monitor applications on required operating systems.
• Define and communicate requirements for technology layers and develop operational standards for databases, infrastructure, and middleware.
• Conduct testing and support release management during new version deployments.
• Provide 2nd level support and troubleshoot application issues.
• Provide 3rd level support for incidents reported by Event Management or base units.
• Participate in projects involving implementation, migration, development, and maintenance of client applications per standards.
• Plan independently, provide technical advice, deploy new applications and systems, and automate operational, testing, change, and monitoring processes.
• Act as an expert in banking application areas.
• Handle 2nd and 3rd line support tickets, including error analysis and resolution.
• Manage, coordinate, maintain, and develop highly complex applications.
