Workplace Architect

This position is in the Technology industry, focused on ERP & CRM systems.

• Deep expertise in Microsoft 365 and SharePoint Online architecture.
• Extensive experience with large-scale File Share to SharePoint migrations.
• Strong understanding of SharePoint information architecture, governance, permissions, metadata, retention, and compliance.
• Practical experience with migration tools such as ShareGate and Quest, and migration factory approaches.
• Experience designing migration waves, pilot migrations, cutover plans, and data remediation strategies.
• Strong stakeholder management and workshop facilitation skills.

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of alternative migration tools (e.g., AvePoint).
• Experience in training teams on migration processes.

• Review, challenge, and optimize the target SharePoint Online architecture, information structure, governance model, and migration strategy.
• Validate migration readiness and define the migration roadmap and wave-based migration approach.
• Analyze complex migration scenarios such as long file paths, unsupported characters, large file volumes, permission inheritance challenges, and Excel files with macros.
• Define remediation and exception handling strategies and establish migration standards.
• Guide and mentor the SharePoint SME in setup, configuration, and optimization of migration tooling (Quest, ShareGate).
• Design pilot migration scenarios, success criteria, testing procedures, rollback plans, and cutover activities.
• Lead pilot migrations, review results, and adjust migration design and tooling configuration.
• Provide technical governance during production migration waves to ensure quality, security, and compliance.
• Manage technical risks, dependencies, and stakeholder communication related to migration.
• Support decision-making regarding target platforms, archiving strategies, and content consolidation.

• Experience in training teams on migration processes.

Contract type: B2B. Rate: up to 205 PLN per hour. Full-time (40 hours/week). Duration: 3 months. Work location: Remote. Language requirements: English C1, German nice to have.
