Cybersecurity Engineer, Data & AI SME

• 5+ years of hands-on engineering experience in cloud, data, or AI security.
• Deep hands-on expertise with cloud security platforms (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS), data protection and privacy technologies, AI/ML security controls, and secure AI development pipelines.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure security tooling and cloud-native security solutions.
• Proven experience implementing and supporting complex cloud, data, and AI security solutions in large-scale, hybrid, or multi-cloud environments.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with scripting and automation (PowerShell, Python, Terraform, REST APIs).
• Knowledge of relevant regulations and standards (GDPR, NIS Regulations, ISO 27001, SOx, CSA CCM).
• CISSP or CISM (or equivalent) certification.

• Act as a subject matter expert for design, build, configuration, integration, and optimization of cybersecurity solutions for cloud, data, and AI environments.
• Participate in technical implementation and deployment of new cloud, data, and AI security capabilities and enhancements.
• Provide expert engineering support for daily operations, maintenance, troubleshooting, and performance tuning of cloud security, data protection, and AI security platforms.
• Collaborate with product managers, solution architects, and delivery teams to ensure effective implementation meeting business and security needs.
• Develop and maintain technical standards, configuration baselines, automation scripts, and operational procedures for security systems.
• Support incident response and problem management activities including root cause analysis and permanent fixes.
• Monitor system performance, availability, and capacity; drive improvement and automation initiatives.
• Contribute to evaluation and selection of new tools or enhancements in the cloud, data, and AI security domain.
