Senior SAP BW/HANA Developer

The role is for a client in semiconductor manufacturing and high-tech innovation.

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in SAP BW and SAP HANA development
• Expertise in SAP BW development: InfoObjects, DataSources, DSOs, Transformations, Process Chains, Queries
• Experience in SAP HANA native modeling: Calculation Views, Procedures, CDS Views, SQLScript
• Proficient in ETL and data pipeline design in SAP environments (BW or HANA)
• Experience integrating SAP systems (ECC and S/4HANA) with third-party tools
• Skills in database optimization and performance tuning
• Familiarity with SAP HANA Web IDE and SAP BW/4HANA environments
• Experience with Agile collaboration tools: Jira, Confluence, ADO
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• Solid foundation in backend and ETL development within SAP systems
• Knowledge of ABAP for BW activities including extractors development and code optimizations
• Proven ability to optimize large-scale datasets and workflows
• Strong collaboration skills and Agile team experience
• Manufacturing or engineering domain experience is a plus (e.g., quality assurance, supply chain analytics)

• Design, develop, and optimize SAP BW solutions including InfoObjects, DSOs, Transformations, Process Chains, and Queries
• Create SAP HANA native models: Calculation Views, CDS Views, Stored Procedures, and SQLScript
• Build scalable data architectures and workflows for analytics and reporting
• Develop and maintain ETL processes extracting data from SAP ECC, SAP S/4HANA, and non-SAP systems
• Collaborate with frontend teams for dashboards and real-time reporting in SAP Analytics Cloud and Spotfire
• Monitor and troubleshoot data flows to ensure high data quality
• Optimize performance and scalability of data processing
• Partner with engineers, business analysts, and solution architects to gather requirements
• Participate in Agile (SAFe) processes including sprints, planning, and retrospectives
