Senior Functional Analyst - Technology

• 5 to 10 years of experience in a functional analysis role with progression into senior or leadership positions
• Proven successful delivery of software implementation projects in financial services or fund administration
• Ability to manage and influence stakeholders at all organizational levels
• Strong project management skills with hands-on experience in delivery timelines, budgets, and resource planning
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to translate complex requirements into clear specifications
• Experience providing Level 2/3 application support and managing automation, system integration, or platform migration projects
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills including executive-level presentations
• Comfortable working in fast-paced, multi-stakeholder environments with resilience and solution orientation
• Ability to deliver persuasive presentations on complex topics to senior and cross-functional audiences

Nice to have:

• Experience in Fund Accounting, Transfer Agency, or ManCo operations
• Professional project management qualifications (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2)
• Hands-on experience with Paxus or similar fund administration platforms
• Familiarity with collaboration and workflow tools such as Jira, Confluence
• Exposure to SQL, development languages like C#, Python
• Understanding of cloud platforms, DevOps, infrastructure-as-code concepts
• Prior consulting experience in financial services transformation programs

• Lead end-to-end functional analysis for the implementation of PMPlus software supporting ManCo activities in Luxembourg
• Author and maintain comprehensive documentation including functional specifications, process flows, and system configuration guides
• Design and deliver training materials, user guides, and knowledge-transfer sessions
• Coordinate UAT testing end-to-end, including strategy definition, script development, scenario design, and issue log tracking
• Plan and execute data migration activities ensuring data integrity and minimal disruption
• Define and implement post-go-live support operating model including SLAs and escalation paths
• Assume full application ownership and drive resolution of production issues
• Provide Level 2 application support for Hedge Fund platforms like Paxus and 3Cats
• Maintain project hygiene via Jira governance, Project Tracker updates, and status reporting
• Conduct requirements gathering and produce aligned specifications
• Mentor and guide analysts and developers on priorities and quality standards
• Serve as primary contact between Technology and Business stakeholders
• Drive decision-making processes for senior management
• Manage functional analysis workstreams including planning, scheduling, risk mitigation, and reporting
• Critically assess technical designs for alignment with business objectives and scalability
• Engage with developers and architects about system architecture concepts such as APIs, integrations, databases, and data flows
• Write and review technical documentation like data mapping and integration design documents
• Participate in technical discussions, sprint ceremonies, backlog refinement, and code-review walkthroughs
• Define test strategies leveraging methodologies including unit, integration, regression, and UAT
