DevOps Engineer (remote work)

Vistra iiPay is a high growth, innovative global payroll services company operating in over 50 countries including US, Europe, and Singapore. The company delivers a market leading global payroll management system focused on customer experience and value-added services. The role supports the iiPay application platform and broader product development ecosystem.

• 7+ years of experience in DevOps.
• Proven industry experience in a DevOps Engineer or similar role.
• Experience designing, implementing, and managing CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes.
• Strong understanding of security best practices including vulnerability management, secure coding, access controls, and compliance.
• Ability to design and maintain scalable infrastructure supporting high availability and optimal performance.
• Experience with complex web-based SaaS platforms using Java and C#.
• Proficient in PowerShell scripting for automation.
• Hands-on experience with TeamCity, Octopus Deploy, and Azure DevOps.
• Skills in Nginx and general web server configuration.
• Implement robust monitoring, alerting, and incident response.
• Proficient with Terraform for infrastructure as code.
• Hands-on experience with AWS or Microsoft Azure cloud platforms.
• Collaboration skills to ensure smooth integration between software engineering and operations.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills for distributed systems.

• Design, implement, and maintain highly available, secure, and scalable infrastructure.
• Ensure environments and applications meet reliability, performance, and availability objectives.
• Identify and address infrastructure, deployment, and operational risks.
• Implement monitoring, alerting, logging, and observability solutions.
• Participate in release activities, operational support, and incident response.
• Design, maintain, and improve CI/CD pipelines across products and services.
• Establish and promote consistent pipeline standards and best practices.
• Reduce deployment risk through automation, validation, testing, rollback mechanisms, and deployment controls.
• Investigate and resolve build and deployment issues.
• Collaborate with development teams to streamline software delivery workflows.
• Identify opportunities to reduce manual operational efforts through automation.
• Develop and maintain infrastructure as code solutions and configuration management.
• Automate environment provisioning, configuration, deployment, monitoring, and operational activities.
• Ensure automation solutions are reliable, maintainable, and scalable.
