Software Engineer 2 - .NET - Allegro Klik/Care

Allegro Pay is Central Europe's largest and fastest growing fintech. It provides purchase financing and payment methods used daily by customers of Allegro, a large e-commerce platform in Poland and Europe. The team builds and scales two main products: Allegro Klik (bank account linking and instant payments with cashback) and Allegro Care (insurance offered within the Allegro shopping experience).

• Solid hands-on experience with .NET and backend development on production-grade systems
• Practical experience with distributed systems and microservices; knowledge of partner APIs is a plus
• Comfortable working with cloud infrastructure, preferably Azure
• Enthusiastic about AI and experience or willingness to use AI coding assistants like GitHub Copilot
• Ability to independently design and deliver effective solutions with full ownership
• High sense of responsibility and resilience when working with critical financial data
• Commitment to continuous learning, participation in code reviews, backlog grooming, and team discussions
• Fluent Polish for daily communication and communicative English (minimum B2)

• Design and deliver end-to-end customer journeys including bank account management, payment authorization, and cashback features
• Build new products and features from the ground up on greenfield projects
• Improve system performance, scalability, and reliability
• Enhance the quality and maintainability of the codebase
• Collaborate closely with product, design, and business stakeholders
• Support and mentor less experienced teammates as the team grows
