SAP DRC / ERP Consultant

Square One Resources offers a remote position for a SAP DRC / ERP Consultant with a focus on SAP Digital Compliance solutions across multiple countries.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with SAP FI/CO
• 2–3+ years of specialized experience with SAP DRC, SAP eDocument, and/or Advanced Compliance Reporting (ACR)
• Experience with at least one full lifecycle global implementation or rollout involving local e-invoicing or digital reporting mandates (e.g., Italy – SDI; Poland – KSeF; France – Chorus Pro; Romania – RO e-Factura)
• Strong knowledge of SAP Indirect Tax, including VAT/GST configuration
• Practical experience with complex EU VAT and tax requirements in large multinational environments
• Experience working with SAP tax determination, pricing procedures, tax codes, and finance master data
• Good understanding of SAP integration concepts and APIs
• Ability to perform ABAP debugging and investigate complex tax calculation and interface issues
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively with business, tax, finance, and technical stakeholders
• Ability to work effectively across international teams and different time zones
• Experience with SAP BTP Integration Suite / CPI is highly desirable

Nice to have:

• Experience with multiple country-specific e-invoicing mandates
• Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA and SAP localization
• Experience with tax authority integrations and government platforms
• Familiarity with XML/JSON-based electronic invoicing formats
• Experience with SAP OSS, SAP Notes, and regulatory update processes
• Previous experience working in a global SAP template or rollout environment
• Knowledge of additional SAP compliance solutions and digital tax reporting frameworks

• Support the design, implementation, and ongoing maintenance of SAP Digital Compliance solutions across multiple countries
• Work closely with Finance, Tax, IT, and Integration teams to translate complex local tax and e-invoicing requirements into scalable SAP solutions
• Support global compliance initiatives including Continuous Transaction Controls (CTC), e-invoicing, e-reporting, e-way bills, SAF-T, and localized VAT reporting
• Work on international SAP compliance projects and collaborate with global stakeholders

Configure and maintain SAP DRC framework:

• Configure and maintain the SAP DRC framework including eDocument Cockpit, Application Interface Framework (AIF), Statutory Reporting, and country-specific compliance solutions
• Translate country-specific legal and tax requirements into SAP DRC solutions
• Support implementations of CTC, e-invoicing mandates, e-way bills, SAF-T, and localized VAT reporting
• Design and maintain integrations between SAP and tax authority platforms using SAP BTP Integration Suite (CPI), APIs, and API Management
• Work with technical and integration teams to ensure secure, reliable, and compliant data exchange
• Collaborate with Global Tax, Finance, and Accounting teams to monitor changes in international tax legislation
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into functional and technical SAP specifications
• Review and optimize AP, AR, and GL processes to support compliant electronic invoicing and statutory reporting
• Support configuration of tax determination, pricing procedures, tax codes, and relevant master data
• Ensure SAP solutions align with local VAT/GST and e-invoicing regulations
• Provide L2/L3 support for SAP DRC and related compliance processes
• Troubleshoot transaction errors in eDocument Cockpit and AIF monitors
• Analyze and resolve issues related to tax determination, document generation, XML/JSON payloads, and external integrations
• Implement SAP Notes, Support Packages, and regulatory/legal changes through SAP OSS
• Coordinate testing and deployment of compliance-related SAP changes
• Maintain technical and functional documentation
