Software Engineer 2 (Java/Kotlin) - Offer Verification

You will join the Offer Verification team at Grupa Allegro Sp. z o. o. in Warsaw, building tools that validate merchant listings against company policies and legal regulations. The team collaborates with Data Science and Machine Learning teams using AI for real-time decisions and operates at massive scale with over 1000 microservices.

• Commercial experience coding in Kotlin or Java.
• Commitment to high-quality code and engineering best practices.
• Experience or eagerness to work with AI models in production.
• Effective communication skills in English (minimum B2 level).

Nice to have:

• Frontend experience with React.

• Build and optimize backend services handling ~120 million offer events daily.
• Implement and optimize AI models in production environments.
• Collaborate with Data Science and Machine Learning teams to integrate AI for real-time decision-making.
• Occasionally pick up frontend tasks using React.
• Ensure tools validate merchant listings according to company policies and legal requirements.
