Project Manager (Data Governance)

This role involves working on a project for an international organization in the banking sector.

• Minimum 5 years of experience in data management, Data Quality, Data Governance, or related fields.
• Practical experience in Data Quality Issue Management (DQIM), managing data quality issues from identification to resolution.
• Experience with backlog and process management, including monitoring progress, prioritization, and enforcing accountability.
• Knowledge and application of Root Cause Analysis (RCA) to identify problem sources and support corrective actions.
• Ability to coordinate activities among multiple stakeholders, escalate risks, and maintain transparent communication.
• Proficient in English at C1 level.

• Manage the Data Quality Issue Management (DQIM) process, including triage boards, cross-domain coordination, and escalation of issues and blockers.
• Manage backlog health, assign ticket ownership, prioritize tasks, and oversee Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
• Implement structural process improvements such as optimizing intake gates, grouping problems, and controlling task closures.
• Identify opportunities for automation and enhance data quality processes.
• Prepare reports for management, ensure transparency of activities, and escalate risks related to resource deficiencies, accountability, or inter-team dependencies.
