Product Owner (k/m)

PZU Tech S.A. is a company operating in the insurance industry.

• Minimum 3 years experience as a Product Owner in an insurance company
• Implemented at least 3 commercial products, including at least one in the insurance sector
• Strong knowledge of Scrum and PO role
• Experience with Jira, Confluence, and Miro
• Agile/Scrum certifications (e.g., PSPO II or equivalent)
• Strong decision-making skills and conflict resolution competencies, including negotiation
• Ability to make product decisions under uncertainty and manage trade-offs (time/cost/scope/quality)
• Very good understanding of technology including systems, APIs, integrations, constraints, and ability to assess technological impact on the product
• English language proficiency at minimum B2
• Ability to provide services on the territory of Poland
• Willingness to work in Warsaw in a hybrid model (3 days onsite, 2 days remote)

• Creating and maintaining the product vision and roadmap aligned with business objectives
• Building relationships with stakeholders, managing their expectations, and influencing product direction
• Understanding the Product Owner role and the software development process
• Monitoring progress beyond just value metrics
• Advanced backlog management and prioritization based on value
• Ensuring transparency and understanding of the backlog for the team and stakeholders
• Writing complete User Stories and breaking down requirements into releasable increments
• Stable collaboration with the Scrum team
• Designing and monitoring product metrics such as Time to Market (TTM), ROI, Revenue, KPI, OKR, and NPS
• Conducting product discovery through research, workshops, and needs analysis
• Managing resistance and change management

Nice to have:

• Collaboration with UX and understanding of design processes
• Basic knowledge of SQL and log analysis
• Facilitation skills for workshops (story mapping, event storming)
• Familiarity with GA4 or similar analytics tools
• Inspiring team to use A/B testing, experiments, and conversion optimization
• Advanced Agile/Scaling certifications (PSM II, SAFe, LeSS)
• Using AI to support needs analysis, backlog, and product management

Services must be provided on the territory of Poland with work in Warsaw in a mixed model (3 days onsite, 2 days remote).
