Security Engineer

Benefit Systems International S.A. is hiring for a cybersecurity team role focused on Microsoft-based security solutions management, incident response, and security operations improvement.

• 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity, security engineering, or security operations.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft security technologies including Microsoft Sentinel, Microsoft Defender XDR, Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, Microsoft Defender for Cloud, Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), and Microsoft Purview.
• Good understanding of security concepts such as Identity and Access Management (IAM), Zero Trust Architecture, Endpoint Security, Security Monitoring and Incident Response, Vulnerability Management, and Cloud Security.
• Experience working with Microsoft Azure environments.
• Knowledge of security frameworks and standards such as NIST, ISO 27001, CIS Controls.
• Ability to analyze security events and perform root cause investigations.
• Scripting or automation skills (PowerShell, Python) are advantageous.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in cross-functional English-speaking teams.

Nice to have:

• Microsoft security certifications such as:
  • Microsoft Certified: Cybersecurity Architect Expert (SC-100)
  • Microsoft Certified: Security Operations Analyst Associate (SC-200)
  • Microsoft Certified: Identity and Access Administrator Associate (SC-300)
• Experience with SIEM and Vulnerability Management tools.

• Manage Microsoft security solutions across cloud and on-premises environments.
• Monitor, detect, investigate, and respond to security incidents.
• Develop and improve security monitoring use cases, detection rules, and automated response workflows.
• Perform security assessments, vulnerability management, and risk analysis.
• Support identity and access management initiatives.
• Implement and maintain security controls aligned with industry best practices and compliance requirements.
• Participate in incident response activities and forensic investigations.
• Create and maintain security documentation, procedures, and technical standards.
