Solution Architect (Mobile Banking Platform)

Scalo delivers software projects and supports partners in business development across Software, Embedded, Data, and Cloud Services. Areas of activity include technology consulting, software development, embedded systems, cloud solutions, data management, and dedicated project teams. The project is conducted for a major electronic banking sector in Poland, involving architecture design used by millions of end users.

• Minimum 5 years experience in IT system solution design and integration
• Experience designing architecture for mobile applications
• Experience with large-scale financial sector projects
• Practical knowledge of architectural patterns used in corporate architecture
• Experience deploying services in Kubernetes environments
• Experience designing and deploying microservices-based solutions
• Knowledge of application development and delivery processes in cloud environments
• Familiarity with containerization and CI/CD tools
• Knowledge of authentication and authorization mechanisms, including OAuth 2.0 and OIDC
• Ability to analyze code in Java, Kotlin, and Swift
• Practical knowledge of Git
• Experience modeling architecture with C4 and UML
• Knowledge of cryptographic topics, including digital signatures, encryption algorithms, and PKI
• English proficiency sufficient for working with technical documentation
• Higher education, preferably in IT

• Experience collaborating with platform teams supporting product teams organized around business domains
• Experience designing high-availability systems with near-100% uptime
• Experience in cybersecurity and application security

• Designing architecture for new, complex solutions serving millions of end users
• Defining application architecture, infrastructure, and technology standards
• Designing integration and orchestration of services in microservices and Kubernetes environments
• Collaborating with architects, analysts, developers, cybersecurity specialists, and external vendors
• Identifying system optimization areas and recommending technology platform development directions
• Creating and updating architectural documentation using C4 and UML models

Services are provided hybrid with presence in Warsaw office twice a month; project budget up to 190 PLN/hour plus VAT depending on experience and service scope.
