Web Development Project Manager

Coalition Technologies is a company operating fully remotely, specializing in web design, web development, responsive design, and eCommerce projects. The company supports remote team members and focuses on delivering high-quality web solutions through coordinated collaboration including designers, developers, SEO teams, Account Managers, and clients.

• Experience in responsive design
• Proficiency with design or editing software
• Knowledge of project management software (Basecamp, MS Project, Visio, Salesforce, or similar)
• Solid understanding of web design standards, usability, rich media, and workflows
• Experience with large or complex websites and high-profile clients
• Strong interpersonal, analytical, problem-solving, negotiation, facilitation, organizational, prioritization, decision-making, and conflict resolution skills
• Solid understanding of project management methodology, including issue resolution, risk management, work plans, specifications, resource allocation, and meetings
• Ability to anticipate issues and mitigate future bottlenecks
• Capability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Great attention to detail and highly organized
• Availability to work 40 hours/week, Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Pacific Time
• Reliable remote workstation setup with fast computer, microphone, speakers, internet, and power

Nice to have:

• Familiarity with eCommerce platforms such as Shopify, BigCommerce, and Magento
• Leadership experience with teams of 3 or more people
• Experience with wireframing, sitemaps, scopes of work, and project documentation
• Experience coordinating designers, developers, SEO teams, Account Managers, and client stakeholders
• Experience with quality assurance processes, testing documentation, and web project delivery

• Assist with and review project scopes considering resources, technical constraints, cost estimates, business impact, and risks
• Create and execute project work plans; revise as needed
• Support wireframes, sitemaps, and scopes of work
• Define project scopes and provide clear instructions to design and development teams
• Communicate project objectives, timelines, and success criteria
• Identify resources and assign individual responsibilities
• Ensure timely and budget-compliant project completion
• Review team deliverables before passing to Account Managers
• Apply company methodology and enforce project standards
• Maintain complete and accurate project documentation
• Collaborate with SEO team, developers, designers, and other stakeholders
• Analyze tradeoffs between usability, performance, technical needs, and client goals
• Ensure detailed requirements to meet customer needs
• Attend client meetings as required
• Assist with quality assurance, documentation, and testing
• Identify and manage project risks
• Monitor industry trends and market conditions affecting client solutions
