Senior Commerce Solution Architect

• 8+ years in software architecture, systems integration, consulting, or solution design with at least 3 years as a Solution Architect on complex commerce or digital experience programs
• Experience in retail, e-commerce, or consumer packaged goods (CPG) industries
• Deep expertise in enterprise commerce or digital experience platforms such as SAP Commerce Cloud, Adobe Commerce, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, commercetools, Shopify, or BigCommerce and knowledge of composable and MACH ecosystem
• Proven experience designing integrations across commerce, OMS, CDP, ERP (including SAP), CRM, and marketing platforms
• Strong cloud architecture expertise across AWS, Azure, or GCP including microservices, containers, serverless architectures, and API management
• Working knowledge of agentic AI concepts, AI-assisted workflows, and interoperability standards like A2A and MCP
• Experience leading technical pre-sales engagements, effort estimation, proposal development, and executive presentations
• Strong understanding of security, privacy, and regulatory compliance including GDPR, CCPA, and PCI DSS
• Experience mentoring architects and technical teams
• Excellent communication, consulting, stakeholder management, and executive presentation skills
• English proficiency at C1 level or above

Nice to have:

• Experience introducing AI-powered or agent-based capabilities into enterprise commerce solutions
• Hands-on experience with migration to composable or MACH-based architectures
• Involvement with MACH Alliance or similar
• Experience with CDPs, personalization, DAM, content operations, loyalty ecosystems
• Previous Technology Consulting role or strong interest
• Relevant cloud, commerce platform, AI, or architecture certifications
• TOGAF certification or experience with enterprise architecture frameworks

• Own end-to-end architecture for large-scale commerce and digital experience programs across multiple platforms including SAP Commerce, Adobe, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, commercetools, Shopify Plus, and BigCommerce
• Define target-state architectures, technology roadmaps, and transformation strategies including modernization and cloud migration
• Architect complex integration landscapes with OMS, CDP, ERP, CRM, PIM, loyalty, and marketing ecosystems
• Establish architecture governance, design review processes, and reusable reference architectures
• Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture principles, security, compliance, and composable-core strategies
• Act as primary escalation point for complex technical and architectural challenges
• Define AI-driven commerce strategies including intelligent personalization, GenAI-powered content operations, AI-assisted search and merchandising
• Lead architectural decisions integrating GenAI and LLM technologies including RAG architectures, vector search, platform-native AI, and hyperscaler offerings
• Evaluate AI interoperability standards such as Agent-to-Agent (A2A) and Model Context Protocol (MCP)
• Advise clients on AI adoption roadmaps addressing governance, security, and risk
• Collaborate with EPAM's AI community to introduce AI and agentic commerce capabilities
• Lead technical pre-sales activities including solution shaping, estimation, RFP/RFI responses, and executive presentations
• Facilitate discovery sessions, architecture workshops, and strategic consulting with C-level stakeholders
• Translate business objectives and AI ambitions into pragmatic technology roadmaps
• Assess client technology landscapes and build business cases for transformation initiatives
• Identify growth opportunities through understanding of client technology and business priorities
• Mentor Solution Architects, Software Architects, and engineering teams
• Contribute and lead DEP Poland's Architecture and Composable Digital Communities
• Support emerging architects toward Solution Architect certification
• Represent DEP Poland's architecture capabilities internally and externally
• Collaborate globally with commerce, digital experience, and AI experts
• Define architecture standards, mentor architects, and drive strategic initiatives
• Work on enterprise transformation programs combining consulting, architecture leadership, technology innovation, and business impact
• Grow expertise across modern commerce platforms, cloud technologies, AI solutions, and enterprise architecture practices
