Senior Commerce Solution Architect

• 8+ years in software architecture, systems integration, consulting, or solution design; 3+ years as a Solution Architect on complex commerce or digital experience programs
• Experience in retail, e-commerce, or consumer packaged goods (CPG) industries
• Deep architecture expertise in at least one enterprise commerce or digital experience platform such as SAP Commerce Cloud, Adobe Commerce, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, commercetools, Shopify, or BigCommerce with strong knowledge of composable and MACH ecosystem
• Proven integration design experience across commerce, OMS, CDP, ERP (including SAP), CRM, and marketing technology platforms
• Strong cloud architecture expertise across AWS, Azure, or GCP, including microservices, containers, serverless, and API management
• Working knowledge of agentic AI concepts, AI-assisted workflows, and interoperability standards like A2A and MCP
• Demonstrated success in technical pre-sales, estimation, proposal development, and executive presentations
• Strong understanding of security, privacy, and compliance requirements including GDPR, CCPA, and PCI DSS
• Experience mentoring architects and technical teams in complex delivery environments
• Excellent communication, consulting, stakeholder management, and executive presentation skills
• English proficiency at C1 level or above

Nice to have:

• Experience introducing AI-powered or agent-based capabilities into enterprise commerce solutions
• Hands-on experience leading migrations from monolithic to composable or MACH-based architectures
• Involvement with MACH Alliance or similar organizations
• Experience with Customer Data Platforms (CDPs), personalization platforms, DAM solutions, content operations, or loyalty ecosystems
• Previous experience or strong interest in Technology Consulting career path
• Relevant cloud, commerce platform, AI, or architecture certifications
• TOGAF certification or experience applying enterprise architecture frameworks

• Own end-to-end architecture for large-scale commerce and digital experience programs across multiple platforms including SAP Commerce, Adobe Commerce, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, commercetools, Shopify Plus, and BigCommerce
• Define target architectures, technology roadmaps, and transformation strategies including cloud migration and monolith-to-composable modernization
• Architect integration landscapes connecting commerce platforms with OMS, CDP, ERP, CRM, PIM, loyalty, and marketing ecosystems
• Establish architecture governance, design reviews, and reusable reference architectures
• Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture principles, security, and compliance requirements
• Act as primary escalation point for technical and architectural challenges
• Define AI-driven commerce strategies such as intelligent personalization, GenAI-powered content operations, and agentic commerce capabilities
• Lead architectural decisions on integrating GenAI and LLM technologies, including RAG architectures, vector search, and hyperscaler AI services
• Evaluate AI interoperability standards (e.g., Agent-to-Agent, Model Context Protocol), advising clients on implications
• Serve as trusted advisor developing AI adoption roadmaps addressing governance and security
• Collaborate with EPAM's AI community to introduce innovative AI commerce capabilities
• Lead technical pre-sales activities including solution shaping, estimation, RFP/RFI responses, PoC/PoV, and executive presentations
• Facilitate discovery sessions, architecture workshops, and strategic consulting with C-level stakeholders
• Translate business objectives and AI ambitions into investment-ready technology roadmaps
• Assess client technology landscapes and build business cases for composable and AI-enabled transformations
• Identify growth opportunities via deep understanding of client ecosystems
• Mentor Solution Architects, Software Architects, and engineering teams across engagements
• Contribute to DEP Poland's Architecture and Composable Digital Communities by driving reusable assets and AI architectural patterns
• Support development and certification of emerging architects
• Represent DEP Poland’s architecture capabilities internally and externally
• Collaborate with global commerce, digital experience, and AI experts on accelerators and thought leadership
• Shape commerce transformation by promoting composable architectures and AI-enabled customer experiences
• Participate in visible enterprise transformation programs combining consulting, architecture leadership, and technology innovation
• Continuously develop expertise in modern commerce platforms, cloud technologies, AI-driven solutions, and enterprise architecture practices
