Senior Commerce Solution Architect

• 8+ years in software architecture, systems integration, consulting, or solution design; minimum 3 years as Solution Architect on complex commerce or digital experience programs.
• Experience in retail, e-commerce, or consumer packaged goods industries.
• Deep expertise in at least one enterprise commerce or digital experience platform such as SAP Commerce Cloud, Adobe Commerce and AEM, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, commercetools, Shopify, or BigCommerce with strong knowledge of composable and MACH ecosystems.
• Proven experience designing integrations across commerce, OMS, CDP, ERP (including SAP), CRM, and marketing platforms.
• Strong cloud architecture expertise with AWS, Azure, or GCP, including microservices, containers, serverless architectures, and API management.
• Working knowledge of agentic AI concepts, AI-assisted workflows, and emerging interoperability standards like A2A and MCP.
• Experience leading technical pre-sales, effort estimation, proposal development, and executive presentations.
• Strong understanding of security, privacy, and regulatory compliance including GDPR, CCPA, and PCI DSS.
• Experience mentoring architects and technical teams.
• Excellent communication, consulting, stakeholder management, and presentation skills.
• English proficiency at C1 or higher.

Nice to have:

• Experience introducing AI-powered or agent-based capabilities into enterprise commerce.
• Hands-on experience migrating monolithic platforms to composable or MACH architectures.
• Involvement with the MACH Alliance or similar organizations.
• Experience with Customer Data Platforms, personalization platforms, DAM, content operations, or loyalty ecosystems.
• Previous technology consulting experience or strong interest.
• Relevant cloud, commerce platform, AI, or architecture certifications.
• TOGAF certification or enterprise architecture framework experience.

• Own end-to-end architecture for large-scale commerce and digital experience programs across platforms including SAP Commerce, Adobe Commerce, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, commercetools, Shopify Plus, and BigCommerce.
• Define target architectures, technology roadmaps, and transformation strategies including monolith-to-composable modernization and cloud migration.
• Architect complex integrations connecting commerce with OMS, CDP, ERP, CRM, PIM, loyalty, and marketing ecosystems.
• Establish architecture governance, design review processes, and reusable reference architectures.
• Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture principles, security, compliance, and composable-core strategies.
• Act as primary escalation point for complex technical and architectural challenges.
• Define AI-driven commerce strategies including personalization, GenAI content operations, AI-assisted search, merchandising, and agentic commerce.
• Lead architectural decisions integrating GenAI and LLM technologies including RAG architectures, vector search, platform-native AI services, and hyperscaler AI offerings.
• Evaluate emerging AI interoperability standards such as Agent-to-Agent (A2A) and Model Context Protocol (MCP) and advise clients.
• Serve as trusted advisor for AI adoption roadmaps addressing governance, security, and risk.
• Collaborate with EPAM's AI community to introduce AI and agentic commerce capabilities.
• Lead technical pre-sales: solution shaping, estimations, RFP/RFI responses, PoC/PoV definition, executive presentations.
• Facilitate discovery sessions, architecture workshops, and strategic consulting with C-level stakeholders.
• Translate business and AI transformation goals into technology roadmaps.
• Assess client technology landscapes and build business cases for composable and AI-enabled transformations.
• Identify growth opportunities through deep understanding of client ecosystems.
• Mentor Solution Architects, Software Architects, and engineering teams.
• Contribute to DEP Poland's Architecture and Composable Digital Communities with assets, accelerators, best practices, and AI architectural patterns.
• Support emerging architects toward Solution Architect certification.
• Represent DEP Poland's architecture capabilities internally and externally.
• Drive adoption of composable architectures and AI-enabled customer experiences.
• Collaborate globally with commerce, digital experience, and AI experts on accelerators and thought leadership.
• Define architecture standards, mentor architects, and drive strategic initiatives across EPAM.
• Work on enterprise transformation programs combining consulting, architecture leadership, and technology innovation.
• Grow expertise in modern commerce platforms, cloud technologies, AI-driven solutions, and enterprise architecture.
