Senior Engineer (Full-Stack) - Policy & Safety

The role is within the Rights-Said-Fred squad, focused on building scalable and reusable systems to support content and catalog operations for a content ecosystem dedicated to creators, partners, and listeners.

• 5+ years of experience as a full stack engineer building and maintaining production systems.
• Experienced in designing and developing backend applications in Java.
• Deep proficiency in React and TypeScript, with passion for end-to-end experience and software architecture including front-end, back-end, and APIs.
• Fluency with modern cloud/platform tooling, preferably GCP including GKE, Pub/Sub, and managed storage.
• Strong system design, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
• Effective communication, collaboration, and cross-functional partnership skills.
• Experience with content moderation, operational tooling, or trust and safety systems is a plus.

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of Next.js and CSS modules.
• Experience with testing tools such as Jest and React Testing Library.

• Build operational tooling by designing and implementing internal user interfaces and content-management tools to improve visibility, streamline workflows, and support compliance and provider self-service.
• Deliver robust backend workflow execution for content actions like takedowns, geoblocking, relocations, and metadata adjustments across systems.
• Integrate actioning logic across domains, evolve shared workflows, and support moderation and review for emerging content types.
• Drive technical quality by championing engineering best practices and contributing to architectural decisions.
• Collaborate with product, design, data science, legal, and operations teams to define requirements and shape roadmaps.
