Data & BI Analyst (Databricks & Power BI)

At hubQuest, IT and analytics specialists form technology teams and support partners in converting data into reliable solutions. The role is part of an Integrated Reporting project for a global organization, currently at pilot and Proof of Concept phase, aiming to unify reporting logic from multiple systems.

• At least 3 years of experience in business intelligence, data analytics, or similar roles
• Practical experience with Azure Databricks, SQL, data transformation, and combining multiple sources
• Experience with Power BI reports or semantic models
• Good understanding of ETL/ELT processes, data modelling, testing, and data quality
• Ability to translate business needs into clear requirements and collaborate with technical and business teams
• Confident communication skills, including constructive challenge
• Strong written and spoken English

Nice to have:

• Experience with Azure Data Factory, Microsoft Fabric, Delta-based solutions, or Finance reporting

• Gather reporting requirements from business stakeholders and clarify definitions
• Map data and reporting logic from multiple source systems to define a common reporting layer
• Manage data flow: ingestion, ETL/ELT, transformations, datasets in Databricks, and semantic models in Power BI
• Collaborate with data engineers and BI developers on data models and solution design
• Validate source and transformed data; reconcile calculations and investigate discrepancies
• Check solutions against requirements; support testing, deployment, and improvements
• Document business definitions and help users adopt new reports and features
