Senior Mobile QA Engineer

Scalo is hiring a Senior Mobile QA Engineer to work on mobile application testing for Android and iOS platforms with a fully remote engagement. The role involves collaboration with Product Managers and Developers, focusing on test strategy development and quality assurance in an Agile/Scrum environment.

• Commercial experience in QA / software testing, preferably with mobile applications
• Experience creating and executing test cases and maintaining test documentation
• Practical experience with Android and iOS devices and simulators
• Good knowledge of bug reporting, tracking, and verification processes
• Familiarity with Git and GitHub
• Experience with Jira or similar bug and test management tools
• Experience performing functional and regression testing
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments and collaborating with development and product teams
• Very good English language skills at minimum B2+/fluent level enabling effective work in an international team

• Test mobile applications on Android and iOS platforms
• Collaborate with Product Managers and Developers to develop and evolve test strategies
• Prepare and maintain test cases, test scenarios, and documentation
• Perform functional, regression, smoke, and sanity testing
• Report, track, and verify bug fixes
• Work with physical devices and simulators for Android and iOS
• Participate in the improvement of testing processes and CI pipelines
• Maintain product quality throughout the software development lifecycle
• Collaborate with development and product teams in an Agile/Scrum environment
• Perform tasks in a 100% remote work mode
