Middle Frontend Developer / Pixi.js

OptiPlay is a next-generation game provider founded in 2025. The company is built by a team with solid iGaming experience, combining sharp math, bold design, and a performance-first mindset to create slot games that stand out and scale. OptiPlay is growing fast and values direct contribution to the product, roadmap, and culture without bureaucracy. The goal is to craft high-performing games and become a recognizable new studio in the industry.

• 3+ years of frontend development experience including at least 1 year building HTML5 slot games with multiple shipped titles.
• Strong expertise with Pixi.js and modern JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Solid understanding of OOP, asynchronous programming, and rendering performance optimization.
• Strong knowledge of Spine animations and asset management pipelines.
• Experience or proficiency in Codex and WordCode.
• Fluency in English.

Nice to have:

• Experience with game audio technologies such as Howler.js and Web Audio API.
• Experience with build automation, CI/CD pipelines, or process optimization tools.
• Familiarity with iGaming specifics: RNG logic, platform workflow, integrations.
• Experience with GLSL/WebGL shaders for custom visual effects.
• Experience with Vue 3 or other modern UI frameworks.

• Build and ship slot games from prototype to production release.
• Participate in shaping frontend architecture and development standards across all projects.
• Make technical decisions and review code.
• Collaborate with Producers, Artists, and Backend Engineers for seamless integration and optimized performance.
• Maintain code quality through reviews and shared standards to keep codebases scalable, maintainable, and reusable.
• Design and implement new features, UI components, and in-game effects.
• Improve core framework, build tools, and asset pipelines.
• Profile performance and debug across desktop, mobile, and WebGL platforms.
• Document work and share knowledge within the team.
• Stay updated on modern frontend technologies and trends in the iGaming ecosystem.
