Solutions Architect

• At least 6 years delivering complex enterprise IT solutions, including minimum 3 years as Solutions Architect or equivalent.
• Proven experience in discovery, requirements analysis, and translating business problems into architectural solutions and transformation roadmaps.
• Ability to make and document architecture decisions addressing application, integration, data, security, and operational concerns.
• Experience governing delivery and collaborating with software engineering, QA, DevOps, and security teams.
• Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, OCI) including design of IAM, networking, secrets management, storage, load balancing, API management, observability.
• Experience with Terraform or equivalent infrastructure-as-code tools.
• Proven design of cloud-native applications with Docker containerisation, Kubernetes deployment, CI/CD, automated deployments, horizontal scaling, fault tolerance, and monitoring.
• Strong enterprise Java background (preferably Java 17+) with REST APIs, asynchronous/event-driven integration, Spring Boot or Micronaut, secure API design, error handling, and data-access patterns.
• Practical experience with integration and API patterns: REST, OpenAPI, message queues/streams, idempotency, retries, dead-letter handling, contract versioning, and API lifecycle governance.
• Secure-by-design expertise covering identity and access management, network segmentation, encryption, secrets management, auditability, threat modeling, and vulnerability management.
• Experience with enterprise architecture modelling/documentation tools like Enterprise Architect, with working knowledge of C4, ArchiMate, or UML.
• Experience setting quality practices for enterprise delivery, including architecture/code reviews, test strategy, automated and non-functional testing, and technical risk management.

Nice to have:

• Delivery experience in financial services, logistics, or pharmaceuticals with security, audit, regulatory requirements.
• Hands-on with Oracle technologies, particularly OCI services such as IAM, VCN, Vault, Object Storage, API Gateway, Oracle Database, Autonomous Database.
• OCI, TOGAF, ArchiMate, security or agile delivery certifications.
• Fluent Polish and English, able to facilitate workshops and produce architecture documentation in both languages.
• Strong client-facing communication and ability to build trusted relationships with executives and technical teams.

• Lead client workshops and interviews with business and technical stakeholders to elicit and structure requirements.
• Analyse business processes and data to identify problems and develop solution options with business cases and risk profiles.
• Produce high-level solution architecture, key decisions, integration and data design, and delivery roadmaps designed for modularity and scalability.
• Design cloud-first solutions balancing Oracle products, major cloud providers, and open-source technologies.
• Incorporate security, privacy, resilience, performance, observability, operational support, and cost control from the start.
• Plan incremental delivery phases with defined minimum viable scope, acceptance criteria, and outcome metrics.
• Identify AI, ML, and GenAI opportunities with credible business cases.
• Provide architecture governance during implementation by reviewing designs and code decisions and supporting development teams.
• Define and oversee quality and testing approaches including integration, performance, security, resilience, and user acceptance testing.
• Present and defend architectural recommendations to clients, facilitating discussions suitable for executives and technical teams.
