Financial Planning & Analysis Analyst

ABB supports industries in running leaner and cleaner, providing opportunities to work on financial performance within the Automation Energy Industries business in the Central & Eastern Europe (CSE) Region. The role is based in Kraków, supporting the CSE HUB Finance team, reporting to the CoE Team Lead.

• Up to 3–4 years of experience in Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) or Reporting
• Highly skilled in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and VBA
• Experience working with SAP FICO modules
• Experience in project business and project controlling
• Motivated to work with diverse teams across different countries
• Passionate about analytical problem-solving with strong attention to detail
• Demonstrated track record in Finance and Accounting
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field
• Proficient in English communication
• Holds a valid visa or work permit for Poland

• Perform month-end financial closing activities, including validation of financial data, reconciliations, and exception reviews
• Conduct Order Dashboard analysis to identify trends and analyze business performance against plan and forecast
• Provide recommendations for improvement in financial processes
• Provide technical support including macro development, VBA programming, and advanced Excel solutions
• Support the Team Leader with CSE HUB activities and respond to requests from the CSE HUB Controller
• Prepare ad-hoc reports as requested by the business/functions
• Optimize performance by developing automated solutions and eliminating duplications
• Coordinate information flow and improve the quality and accuracy of financial reports
