Test Manager

• 5–10+ years of experience in software testing, including developing test strategies and approaches.
• At least 5 years of experience in the banking sector.
• Experience as a test area manager, defining scope, plans, schedules, and success criteria.
• Practical knowledge of functional and non-functional testing.
• Experience collaborating with IT teams, business, and external suppliers.
• Knowledge of testing methodologies and standards such as ISTQB, TMMi, and Agile Testing, with practical application skills.
• Very good understanding of SDLC, especially the testing process and various testing levels and types.
• Practical knowledge of Agile/Scrum and experience with traditional methodologies like Waterfall and PRINCE2.
• Ability to estimate testing effort and manage complex project dependencies.
• Experience defining and monitoring quality metrics and entry/exit criteria.
• Skills in balancing governance, quality control, and agility.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Result-oriented, responsible, and effective in execution.
• Excellent presentation skills and experience communicating with management.
• Proficiency in tools such as Jira, Confluence, Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI.
• Knowledge of supporting testing tools like Jira/Zephyr, TestRail, Selenium, Postman, and JMeter.
• Ability to work in an environment with multiple initiatives, dependencies, and deadlines.
• Fluency in Polish and English, both spoken and written.

• Defining and implementing testing strategies and approaches for the Bank's projects, including functional, non-functional, automated, regression, and security tests.
• Planning and coordinating the testing process: preparing plans and schedules, defining entry and exit criteria, monitoring milestones, and controlling the critical path.
• Managing IT and business testing teams: organizing work, delegating tasks, mentoring, and developing competencies.
• Managing end-to-end testing processes considering dependencies between IT, business, external suppliers, and other projects.
• Creating and maintaining test documentation: strategies, plans, scenarios, reports, and post-execution documentation.
• Collaborating with development teams, analysts, Product Owners, business process owners, PMO, and suppliers.
• Managing defects from identification and classification to prioritization and monitoring removal.
• Establishing and enforcing quality standards and best practices in the testing process.
• Selecting, implementing, and optimizing tools supporting test management and automation.
• Identifying and analyzing quality risks and defining risk mitigation actions.
• Preparing reports on test progress, product quality, risks, and recommendations for project teams and management.
• Defining and monitoring test process metrics and evaluating effectiveness.
• Supporting competency development in testing teams, organizing training and knowledge sharing.
• Actively participating in the development of CI/CD and DevOps processes and improving change delivery methods.
• Building and maintaining governance in testing for strategic Bank initiatives.
