Odoo Python Developer

• Strong backend skills in Python and Odoo including ORM operations (create, write, search, unlink), computed and stored fields, constraints, onchanges, and access rules
• Minimum 2 years of commercial experience with Odoo or comparable ERP backend development
• Ownership of at least one full API integration project from API documentation reading to production deployment
• Proven API integration experience with REST/JSON, authentication methods (API keys, tokens, OAuth), pagination, timeouts, retries, error handling, logging, and monitoring
• Solid knowledge of PostgreSQL including queries under load, indexes, joins, batching, and transaction scope
• Experience with Git workflows including branches, pull requests, and code review; preferably on Odoo.sh or a similar platform
• Comfort with MacOS Terminal and Linux Shell for command execution, log reading, process inspection, resource usage analysis, and performance troubleshooting
• Comfortable using and challenging AI tools in daily work
• English proficiency for written technical discussions and Polish and English for daily communication

Nice to have:

• Prior knowledge of AWS services such as S3, EKS, Cloudfront
• Experience with logistics and carrier integrations including track & trace, shipment status, and stock visibility
• Experience integrating external storefronts with ERP systems via API
• Familiarity with job-queue patterns like OCA queue_job, Celery, SQS, and ir.cron
• Experience with SOAP integrations for accounting systems
• Experience in test automation including unit tests for Odoo modules and API integration tests

• Work mainly in Odoo.sh: branches, builds and deployments; analyzing logs; debugging with the Shell and monitoring tools
• Design, develop and maintain custom Odoo modules including models, business logic, views, security, and reports for logistics, inventory, and manufacturing workflows
• Independently deliver end-to-end API integrations: consume APIs securely, map carrier data to Odoo models, and implement synchronization with scheduled jobs, retries, and error handling
• Extend API integrations to other carriers, external systems, and storefronts communicating with Odoo over APIs
• Review Pull Requests before production deployment, acting as a quality gate
• Perform performance troubleshooting using data analysis and PostgreSQL logs, indexes, and query plans
• Handle multi-company scenarios including company-dependent fields, record rules, and pricelist resolution
• Collaborate with logistics, warehouse, and sales teams to transform requirements into stable production designs
