Business Analyst (m/f/n)

This is a long-term international project delivered for a European Union Organisation based in Warsaw.

• At least 2 certifications among: Certification of Capability in Business Analysis™ (CCBA) or equivalent; Certified UML Professional certificate at foundation level or BPM 2 fundamental level or equivalent; at least one valid ServiceNow certificate such as Certified System Adminitstrator, Citizen Developer, or ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist.
• Minimum 5 years of IT relevant professional experience.
• Minimum 3 years of project experience relevant to the profile or at similar position.
• English language proficiency at C1 level.
• Bachelor's degree.
• Knowledge in business processes modelling using BPMN notation.
• Knowledge in requirements/user stories elicitation and analysis.
• Knowledge of analysis/modelling notations like UML including capability diagram, activity diagram, state diagram, logical data model.
• Proficient in using modelling tools like Sparx Enterprise Architect or Aris Architect.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.
• Ability to create and maintain analytical and project documentation effectively.
• Problem solving skills.
• Had role of the Business Analyst on a large-scale project (above 1 year duration and over €1M budget) for deployment of an enterprise resource planning system.
• Experience in analysis of business processes: Logistics, Warehouse Management, Asset Management, Fleet Management, Financial Management, Legal, HR, Project Management.
• Experience in business (and optionally system) analysis considering capabilities of the ServiceNow platform including ITSM modules, SecOps, Customer Service Management, Enterprise Assets Management, Strategic Portfolio Management in on-prem and cloud set-ups.

• Models and documents value chain/streams, business processes, roles, capabilities and data.
• Elicits and analyses business needs, requirements and user stories.
• Supports business experts and product owners during definition of requirements and software development.
• Maintains and tracks requirements/user stories in systems lifecycle.
• Transfers business, users and technical needs into business requirements specification.
• Maps business goals, project benefits, priorities, components, system features.
• Analyses available systems.
• Supports identification of options for potential solutions.
• Supports preparation of business cases and feasibility studies.
• Contributes to systems design, testing, quality assurance, change management.
• Responsible for designing, validating, and testing business processes for achieving business process excellence.
• Responsible for planning and managing continuous improvements of business processes.
• Responsible for coaching staff on upcoming changes and new skills/process changes.
• Collaborates with owners of end-to-end processes to seek out process improvements.
• Identifies opportunities for business process improvement leading to improved customer service, lower costs, or higher revenue.
• Communicates project objectives, business case, requirements, and scope to all stakeholders.
• Quantitatively analyses business processes, performing cost-benefit and what-if analysis.
• Plans organizational changes process.
• Implements performance monitoring systems for business processes.
• Supports business users in developing strategic and tactical plans.
• Supports definition of transition roadmaps for business architectures.

The earliest contract start date is 25.11.2026. The latest contract start date is within a maximum of 3 months from the acceptance of the proposal. The position is for candidates able to commute quickly to Warsaw office if needed.
