Junior Web Scraper

• Current student or recent graduate with a degree in computer science or information technology (or similar).
• Knowledge of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JSON, XML, XPATH) and programming languages (e.g. Python) is helpful.
• Knowledge in SQL databases and software programming tools, techniques and methodologies is advantageous.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Methodical approach to work with good problem-solving skills.
• Independent thinker and problem solver with good attention to detail.
• Service-focused team player, open to learning new technologies and methodologies.
• Eagerness to make key contributions in a fast-paced, ever-evolving environment.

• Maintenance of existing web scraping processes to ensure consistent delivery of high-quality data.
• Development of new scraping processes to gather data from web sites identified by our extended team.
• Monitoring of scraping processes for assigned geographic locations.
• Collaboration with geographically dispersed cross-functional teams.
• Troubleshooting issues and analysis of root causes for problems.
