Mid Developer Java/Gosu

ITFS is offering a position to work on projects for the insurance industry in an Agile/Scrum team composed of architects, analysts, and testers. The collaboration is 100% remote with equipment provided from offices in Warsaw, Wrocław, or Katowice.

• Minimum 3 years of commercial experience in software development using Java.
• Minimum 2 years experience programming in Gosu.
• Experience in developing, maintaining, and evolving applications on the JVM.
• Practical knowledge of OOP, Clean Code, and Design Patterns.
• Experience designing and implementing APIs and integrations using REST, SOAP, and XML.
• Practical proficiency with SQL / PL/SQL and working with relational databases.
• Knowledge of Spring and Hibernate frameworks.
• Experience working with Enterprise-class applications and application servers.
• Experience working in Agile / Scrum teams.
• English language proficiency at minimum C1 level.
• Higher education in technical, IT, or related fields.

Nice to have:

• Experience with Guidewire PC/BC.

• Creating, maintaining, and refactoring business applications in Java and Gosu.
• Designing and implementing REST and SOAP interfaces and handling data in XML format.
• Creating and optimizing SQL / PL/SQL queries on relational databases.
• Implementing business logic following principles of Clean Code, Design Patterns, and OOP.
• Participating in code reviews and creating technical documentation.
• Translating business requirements into technical solutions, debugging, and optimizing performance.
• Working in an Agile/Scrum team with architects, analysts, and testers on insurance industry projects.
